Basic care instructions

Before first use: All masks have been machine-sterilised before they are packed. It has passed the microbial cleanliness test needed for a medical grade mask under BS EN 14683:2019. Hence, they can be used as soon as they’re taken out of the packaging.

Subsequent maintenance: Spray mask with water (less than 40°C ) and a small amount of mild liquid soap. Alternatively, soak the mask for about 5 minutes. Rinse off and hang to dry. Store in a cool, dry place. DO NOT PUT IN WASHER OR DRYER. The masks need not be washed frequently. For daily maintenance, disinfectant wipes or spray can be used to clean the surface of the mask, without compromising its filtering efficiency. Over-washing is not encouraged, as it may affect the integrity of the filter sewn into the middle layers of the mask.
